Roberto (Robert) Cabanelas is currently Vice President, Corporate Human Resources (HR) for Archer Daniels Midland. In this role, he is the senior HR leader for the corporate groups working closely with senior executives as their strategic advisor in talent, rewards, organizational change and development. His previous corporate background includes HR leadership roles at Aon, Motorola, Citigroup and PepsiCo. He’s worked globally in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia.
His education includes a BA in economics and history from the University of Michigan, MBA from the University of Miami, MSc in Learning & Organizational Change from Northwestern University, and an International Relations certificate from the London School of Economics & Political Science. He is a faculty instructor for University of Chicago-Professional Education, Duke Corporate Education and World-at-Work. Robert is also a credentialed HR professional with certifications in talent assessments, six sigma and compensation.
Robert has been a board director of the Latino Policy Forum since 2021. Originally from Cuba, he was raised in Puerto Rico and Miami.
