Roberto (Robert) Cabanelas is the Principal of RCA Global Advisors LLC., an independent human capital and organizational consulting firm. He is the retired Vice President, Corporate Human Resources (HR) for Archer Daniels Midland. In his ADM roles, he served as the senior HR leader for the global corporate groups and head of rewards, where he worked closely with senior executives as their strategic advisor in talent, rewards, organizational change and development. His previous corporate background includes HR leadership roles at Aon, Motorola, Citigroup and PepsiCo. He’s worked globally in North America, Latin America, Europe, China and Asia.
His education includes a BA in economics and history from the University of Michigan, MBA from the University of Miami, MSc in Learning & Organizational Change from Northwestern University, and an International Relations certificate from the London School of Economics & Political Science. He is a faculty instructor for University of Chicago and World-at-Work. Robert is also a credentialed HR professional with certifications in personality and talent assessments, learning facilitation, six sigma and compensation.
