There are important elections taking place at the federal, state and local level!

In addition to selecting the next President, Illinois voters will be asked to select their candidates of choice for the U.S. Senate, U.S. Representatives, Illinois Comptroller, state legislators, school district administrators (in some areas), and judicial candidates. Some voters will also be asked to participate in local ballot referenda.

You can click here to see a list of everyone who will be on the ballot in every contest in Illinois. To see who is running in a particular contest, click here and select the race.

What’s at stake this election?

The next President will establish the nation’s policy agenda at home and abroad for at least the next four years. In addition to guiding the global policy landscape, the next President will select the ninth member of the U.S. Supreme Court. This decision will shape the judicial branch for decades to come.

At the state level, those running for office in the Illinois General Assembly will shape the political dynamics between the executive and legislative branches of government for the next two years. From adopting a responsible, fully-funded budget to tax reform, those chosen will determine whether or not Illinois government resumes the ability to perform its basic functions in a timely, predictable manner.

Everyone votes for different reasons. What matters is that you exercise your right to vote.

Please share this message with friends and family so that everyone has an opportunity to be heard this election.
