About Us

Advancing Latinos Advances a Shared Future

Through advocacy and analysis, the Forum builds a foundation for equity, justice and economic prosperity for the Latino community. By catalyzing policy change, the Forum works to improve education outcomes, advocate for affordable housing, promote just immigration policies and strengthen community leadership.

Our Mission

To build the power, influence, and leadership of the Latino community through collective action to transform public policies.

Our Vision

The Latino Policy Forum envisions societal prosperity, unity, and equity in our nation and in the global community.

Land ACknowledgment

The Latino Policy Forum is based in Chicago, Illinois, on lands that will always belong to its Indigenous tribes, including the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations (the Council of the Three Fires), as well as the Miami, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Sac, Fox, Kickapoo, and Illinois Nations. The Forum recognizes and uplifts these original guardians of the territory. Chicago is home to one of the largest urban Native American communities in the United States, who still practice traditions and take care of land and waterways. Without these people and their continued stewardship, we would not be able to call this place home.
