Eduardo Sanchez

Eduardo Sanchez is an accountant for the Latino Policy Forum, delivering nonprofit financial expertise in budgeting and reporting.

He spent seven years at Wermer, Rogers, Doran & Ruzon LLC, a full-service accounting firm in Joliet offering audits, compilations, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and payroll tax services. There, Eduardo relished hands-on accounting work—helping small business owners address daily financial challenges and collaborating closely with firm partners to deliver personalized service. Additionally, with over four years of service as Treasurer of the Joliet Latino Economic Development Association (LEDA), he supported Latino entrepreneurs through programs that provided no-cost business assistance, financial management guidance, and strategic growth planning, all in partnership with the City of Joliet.

Eduardo is passionate about advancing equity and opportunity for Latino communities. A fluent Spanish speaker and lifelong learner, he excels in building trust through transparency and collaboration. Outside of work, Eduardo enjoys strength training, exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping, cooking up new recipes, cheering on Liverpool FC, and connecting with friends over a good book or video game.

Eduardo earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of St. Francis.
