Cindy Camacho is the Vice President of Corporate Responsibility at JPMorganChase and manages philanthropic grantmaking and financial access services in six markets across Illinois and Minnesota. Cindy is a leader committed to economic justice and brings 19 years of experience in the non-profit, policy, and philanthropic sectors. Prior to joining JPMorganChase, Cindy served as the Director of Programs at the Julian Grace Foundation where she executed grantmaking strategies and capacity building initiatives that supported over 100 non-profit organizations yearly. Her background also includes working as a grantmaker at the Polk Bros. Foundation, providing clinical counseling at Metropolitan Family Services, and managing education programs at Family Service of Lake County. Additionally, at the Latino Policy Forum, she advocated for equitable city and state level policies for Latino communities.
Cindy earned a M.A. in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, a B.A. in Sociology from Oberlin College, and an Executive Scholar Certificate in Leadership and Non-Profit Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Cindy is a board member of the Chicago Latines in Philanthropy (CLIP), steering committee member of the Chicago Racial Justice Pooled Fund, and a Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP) Lideres Fellowship alumnus.
