Latinos on the Move, the Latino Policy Forum’s flagship event, puts a spotlight on pressing issues relevant to the Latino community to bring them to the forefront of the public agenda and celebrates community leaders who have positively impacted and uplifted our community.

SINDY M. BENAVIDES
Sindy Marisol Benavides is the President and CEO of Latino Victory of Latino Victory, a progressive organization dedicated to building Latino political power at the local, state, and federal levels. Sindy is a recognized national civil rights leader deeply committed to uplifting the voices of vulnerable and underserved populations. With nearly two decades in the non-profit sector, Sindy has helped build organizations to scale from the bottom up through strategy development, governance, communication, partnerships, and outreach.
Latinos on the Move 2024 will highlight the central issues influencing local and national elections and the role of Latino voters, and honor community members who have been tenacious in their commitment to welcoming and supporting our new neighbors. This year, we are excited to honor Dr. Ana Gil Garcia and the Illinois Venezuelan Alliance, Paula Gean, and Rev. Dr. Kenneth D. Phelps, Cynthia Nambo, Erika Villegas, and the Mobile Migrant Health Team.
