Research has shown that bilingualism can lead to stronger academic outcomes, increased cultural competence, and more employment opportunities after graduating. Whether you start your instruction in your home language and master English along the way or if you start in English and gradually learn another language, you enrich the educational experience of everyone around you. You also gain invaluable skills that set you up for success long-term.

This tool, specifically for parents and educators, offers concrete steps you can take to create a Dual Language program your school district.
