Associate Board

Latino communities face growing challenges in immigration, education, housing, and civic representation, making equitable public policy more urgent than ever. The Latino Policy Forum’s Associate Board brings together emerging leaders committed to advancing a more just and inclusive future for Latino families across Illinois.

The Associate Board advances the Forum’s mission to build the power, influence, and leadership of the Latino community through collective action that transforms public policy. Members support this work through advocacy, engagement, and philanthropy, helping elevate priorities in education, immigration, and housing while expanding awareness across Chicago’s civic and professional communities.

Associate Board members participate in meetings, committees, events, and key initiatives, including planning events. As ambassadors for the Forum, they build relationships, promote civic engagement, and help grow a network of leaders advancing Latino equity.

Associate Board Goals

  • Advocate: Advance the Forum’s policy and advocacy agenda by raising awareness and engaging their networks in civic and policy efforts.
  • Amplify: Act as ambassadors who introduce new audiences to the Forum’s work and strengthen its network of supporters and partners.
  • Accelerate: Foster a culture of philanthropy and play an active role in growing the Forum’s individual donor community.
