2016 Policy Breakfast

Latinos on the Move is a “power breakfast series” that shines a spotlight on issues relevant to the Latino community and brings these issues to the forefront of the public agenda. RSVP today!

We invite you to join the Latino Policy Forum and featured keynote speaker, Sarita E. Brown, President of Excelencia in Education, as she delivers a national perspective on academic achievement and opportunity for Latinos, who currently make up 25 percent of students nationally and in Illinois.

Projections say that by 2023, one out of every three students in the U.S. will be Latino. While college completion is a measure of academic success, the pathways to post-secondary, beginning with early education, are equally important. The future of our children is critical to the future of our workforce and the economic vitality of Latinos as a whole.
